It’s time for some 2026 Jaguars predictions. Because of the constant roster and coaching turnover there is in the NFL, every season there are new surprises. Players have unexpected seasons, whether disappointing or outstanding, largely due to their surroundings and experience level. Now that the dust has settled in free agency and the draft, we will predict five Jacksonville Jaguars players’ 2026 seasons and their stat lines.
2026 Jaguars Predictions: Five Player Stat Projections
Trevor Lawrence
(4,340 yards, 34 touchdowns, 10 interceptions)
Trevor Lawrence is coming off the best season of his career, scoring 38 total touchdowns and finally looking like the star quarterback he was always touted to be. Lawrence’s play took off in the second half of the season, getting more comfortable in Liam Coen’s system and developing instant chemistry with wide receiver Jakobi Meyers.
Lawrence did this while having one of the worst rushing attacks in the league and multiple receivers adjusting to roles they were not yet accustomed to. With a full offseason to build more chemistry and adapt to each other, and an improved running game, Lawrence has everything he needs in order to have another fantastic season.
As we have seen before, Lawrence is a slow starter, and this season will be no different. The first quarter of the 2026 season will be an adjustment period for everyone, but Lawrence will settle in and take his game to new heights, throwing a career-high number of touchdown passes and landing in the top three for MVP voting.
Travis Hunter
(55 receptions, 450 yards, three touchdowns) (nine pass breakups, 3 interceptions)
Travis Hunter’s season will be the hardest of the 2026 Jaguars predictions. His 2025 rookie campaign ended after just seven games, playing primarily as a wide receiver. While all signs point to Hunter’s usage being primarily on the defensive side of the football with his offensive snaps coming in specific circumstances, there are still just seven games of evidence to point too.
Hunter showed he is a talented player who could excel on both sides of the ball, but there was never enough consistency or reps to provide a definitive answer. Now that there is a more well-rounded plan for how to deploy Hunter, he will be able to showcase his natural abilities as a cornerback, as well as a playmaker who gives the offense an extra weapon as a wide receiver.
Brian Thomas Jr.
(75 receptions, 1,070 yards, seven touchdowns)
Brian Thomas Jr. had a monster rookie year, posting 87 catches, 1282 yards, and 10 touchdowns. In 2025, he saw major dips in all three categories. A combination of lost confidence, scheme fit, and injuries all played a major factor in his struggles during his sophomore season.
After an offseason full of trade rumors, Thomas Jr. is rapidly approaching a make-or-break season, but he will bounce back and correct his major flaws that slowed him down in 2025. His pass-catching will improve dramatically, and Liam Coen will adjust his scheme to better utilize Thomas Jr.’s skillset and get him into space more frequently. Statistically, he will not pass his rookie numbers, but he will have his best overall season and improve the Jaguars offense even more.
Ventrell Miller
(two interceptions, four forced fumbles, eight pass deflections, three tackles for loss)
After losing Devin Lloyd in free agency, a lot will be placed at the feet of third-year linebacker Ventrell Miller. In 2025, he played just 20% of the defensive snaps but capitalized on his limited opportunities, recording two forced fumbles, one interception, and four pass deflections. With a heavier workload in 2026, his statistical profile should be even better.
With defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile retained for another season, it is safe to expect that he will deploy Miller similarly to Lloyd and get the most out of the young linebacker. Miller is good in pass coverage, is a strong tackler in run defense, and has good mobility, which all fit perfectly in Campanile’s scheme.
Bhayshul Tuten
(950 yards, seven touchdowns, 4.4 yards per attempt) (25 receptions, 270 yards, four touchdowns)
Much like Ventrell Miller, Bhayshul Tuten showed flashes of starting material in 2025. As a rookie, he played just 21% of the snaps, but was excellent at the goal line and brings more speed and physicality to the Jaguars’ running game than in years past.
With the Jaguars making additions to improve the running game in the 2026 offseason, Tuten should get better looks and have improved efficiency behind a better blocking scheme.
