2026 NFL Draft: Mansoor Delane Scouting Report
Mansoor Delane enters the 2026 NFL Draft as one of the best outside cornerbacks available. His length and top-end speed are impressive for a shutdown DB, and he will be drafted high in Round 1. The former Tiger also had a stellar final collegiate season in Baton Rouge, earning unanimous All-America honors at cornerback, becoming just the 14th unanimous All-America in LSU history and the first at cornerback since Greedy Williams in 2018. He was a First-Team All-SEC in 2025, as well as being one of 3 finalists for the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back. Delane appeared in 44 games with 40 starts with 191 total tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 41 passes defended, 33 pass breakups, and 8 interceptions.
Delane’s productivity, coupled with his savvy football instincts, should allow him to fit in seamlessly to any defensive scheme. The odds favor his ability to be a lockdown corner at the next level, as he’s a very mature player, and the team that selects him is likely to get a solid player.

Bottom Line on Mansoor Delane
The bottom line on Delane is that he is a mature player with rare speed and skill, possessing many of the traits NFL teams covet in a true number-one corner. His toughness and football intelligence are underappreciated, which allows both his floor and ceiling to be high. Another feather in his cap is his ability to play with excellent instincts, and with proper coaching, his techniques can be further refined, giving him the chance to develop into one of the best lockdown DBs in the NFL. Only time will tell, and time is on his side.
