Jadon Canady 2026 NFL Draft Profile
Jadon Canady plays with a chip on his shoulder, plays tougher than he looks. At 5’10” he doesn’t have prototypical size for a cornerback, but he is technically sound. This guy’s instincts are off the charts, and good thing, because he lacks the ability to thump receivers and make them go down instantly. He has a solid football IQ and often arrives at catch points before receivers do. Scouts worry about his lack of strength. NFL-sized blockers will dwarf him and he will need to overcome his lack of size.

Projection: Canady is projected by most scouts as a 4th-5th round pick
Bottom Line on Jadon Canady
Canady is seen by many scouts as a nickel cornerback, a low ceiling type of player and special teams standout. He is what teams want in a slot cornerback – fearless and instinctive. Jadon doesn’t have lockdown abilities that a boundary cornerback needs, but his production against top competition in the SEC and Big Ten points to a productive career as a slot corner in nickel packages. Canady has some skills and measurables that make him a better bet than late round prospects, but doesn’t have the necessary recovery speed that boundary cornerbacks need. Teams that are the best fit for Canady are the Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Washington Commanders
