The Run Defense Didn’t Show Up

We know that Bijan Robinson is one of the best running backs in football. That much is clear, and Robinson deserves all of the credit coming his way. The Los Angeles Rams run defense needs to be better, though, as they allowed Robinson to gain 195 yards on 22 carries. Yes, he picked up 93 yards on one touchdown run, but he still averaged five yards a carry otherwise. In a game with postseason implications, that’s a big problem.
Stafford Threw it Away

Granted, his defense didn’t do him any favors, but Matthew Stafford needed to do a better job of protecting the ball. With three interceptions Monday night and a few misthrows on the Rams’ last-ditch effort to get the game to overtime, Stafford didn’t do himself or the Rams any favors. In a close MVP race with Drake Maye, this could have been the deciding factor.
