3) Patrick Mahomes vs. Cowboys
The Dallas defense has gotten better, but they still aren’t an elite unit. Mahomes and the Chiefs are going to attack them through the air this week rather than hand the ball to Kareem Hunt 30 times. This very well could be the highest-scoring game of the weekend, so get anybody you have on either roster into your starting lineup. If Mahomes doesn’t get back to throwing 3+ touchdowns this week, we will know we have a real problem with the KC passing game going forward.

4) Drake Maye vs. Giants
Maye has been magnificent this year, but now we will see how he can handle a little adversity. With all of the attention given to the Patriots‘ offseason additions through free agency and the draft, most fans have been focused on names like Stephon Diggs and Treyveon Henderson. The biggest impact addition has been rookie left tackle Will Campbell, who has solidified the New England offensive line and has been protecting Maye’s blind side all season long. Campbell was placed on injured reserve this week, so Maye will be without his protector for at least 4 games.
The Giants defense has been soft against the run this year and is very beatable through the air, but they are able to rush the passer. There’s a good chance that Vrabel tries to use his running backs to just ram the ball down New York’s throat all game long, which may affect Maye’s fantasy day. On the plus side, the Giants haven’t really been rolled over by their opponents, despite sitting at 2-10. They should be able to keep it competitive for long enough to keep Maye passing for most of the game.
5) Dak Prescott vs. Chiefs
If it’s going to be the highest scoring game of the week, we might as well get Dak up here on this list. Prescott is coming off a game where he threw for 354 yards and 2 scores and added an acrobatic rushing touchdown that had many of us wondering if Dak may have found the fountain of youth. Add in the fact that he did all of that with Ceedee Lamb dropping most of the passes thrown his way. The Chiefs aren’t a pushover, but you can beat them through the air. Dak is going to throw it near 40 times in this game. Play him and all of his teammates.
