While Javonte Williams has been exceptional for most of the 2025 season, he has slowed down in the past two games. This means that to get rookie Jaydon Blue up to speed, they might need to invest in another running back. With veteran Miles Sanders likely to be gone after the 2025 season in the wake of his latest injury, the Cowboys should sign Singletary on a one-year deal at minimum. Williams might return on another one-year contract to prove, but unless he can change things around and carry most of the workload, he should be back fighting for a starting job again between Blue and Singletary.
