Speaking of players with a lower floor… Fields has been the epitome of a boom-or-bust player so far in 2025. He has played in 5 games so far, and he has given us three weeks with 25+ fantasy points and two games with less than five fantasy points. This is the kind of player that can win you a league but also make you rip your hair out in the process. He’s coming off one of those bust games and gets a Carolina defense that has allowed an average of over 30 points per game in all 3 of their road games this year.

While it may be a stretch to assume the Jets will put up north of 30, they should improve upon the 11 they scored last week. The upside potential of Fields is too good to risk leaving on your bench unless you have a much safer option like the above-mentioned Love, Herbert, Jones, etc. If you have Fields, get him in and cross your fingers. This week, he very well may score 40 fantasy points (he can also be benched in the 2nd quarter in favor of Tyrod Taylor).
