The Bears have a huge offseason ahead, and if one thing is certain, they have to attack the trenches. If the 2025 NFL Draft starts like this in the first three rounds for the Bears, then they’ll be in prime position to be contenders next season. With that, here’s a three-round Bears mock draft.

Bears receive: Picks 14, 80
Colts receive: Picks 10, 234
Round 1, Pick 14: OG Tyler Booker, Alabama
If the Bears want the best guard in this draft class, Tyler Booker is their guy. A proven leader at Alabama, Booker thrived in pass protection, allowing just 10 pressures on 395 pass-blocking snaps in 2024. He would be an immediate upgrade at guard and could anchor Chicago’s offensive line for the next decade.

Round 2, Pick 39: DT Derrick Harmon, Oregon
After transferring from Michigan State and losing some weight, Derrick Harmon transformed into one of the top defensive tackles in college football. Offensive linemen have a hard time blocking him one-on-one and he takes full advantage of his long arms and thick build to get penetration as a run defender. He has the conditioning to play on all three downs, as well as contribute as a pass rusher. If Harmon is still on the board, it’ll be too hard to pass up an opportunity to have him in a Bears’ uniform.
Derrick Harmon is really, really, really good.

Round 2, Pick 41: RB Kaleb Johnson, Iowa
The Bears won’t be content heading into next season with D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson, and the best way to address that problem is through the draft. Kaleb Johnson could be a dynamic addition, forcing 66 missed tackles and racking up 1,060 yards after contact. Pairing him with Swift would give the Bears their own version of the Sonic and Knuckles duo.
Round 3, Pick 72: OL Marcus Mbow, Purdue
A three-year starter at right tackle and guard, Marcus Mbow brings versatility and pass-blocking ability—exactly what the Bears need upfront. He has a refined skill set that will give him ample opportunities to become a starter, but he’ll have to work on his lower-body strength. The Bears can never have enough offensive linemen, and Mbow has the potential to develop into a future starter.
Round 3, Pick 80 (via Indianapolis): EDGE Jared Ivey, Ole Miss
Fitting defensive coordinator Dennis Allen’s preference for bigger edge rushers, 6’5″ and 283-pound pass rusher Jared Ivey could be a sneaky-good addition in the third round. He’s effective at setting the edge against zone runs and offers positional versatility along the defensive line. While there are concerns about his explosiveness and pad level, Ivey has the tools to become a key contributor on Chicago’s defense.
