Fantasy Football: Top 10 Redraft Quarterbacks for 2025

The 2024 fantasy football season is in the books. It is never too early to start looking ahead to the 2025 season. Here is a look at the top-ten quarterback rankings in fantasy football for redraft in 2025.

2025 Top Ten Redraft Quarterbacks Fantasy Football

10. Drake Maye

Maye took over as the starter in Week 6 for the Patriots and had a solid season. In his eleven starts, he finished as a top-20 quarterback in nine of them but only top-10 three times. Maye adds a sneaky rushing upside, having multiple games with over 30 rushing yards. The Patriots will have a top draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, meaning the Patriots should be able to get him some help. The Patriots had one of the worst skill position rooms on the offensive side. Once Maye gets some help, the offense should be able to take the next step in Maye’s second season.

9. Kyler Murray

Murray was not able to exceed expectations this season, being drafted as the QB8 and finishing as the QB11 in total points and QB12 in fantasy points per game. He only had five top-ten finishes this season. The boom weeks were not there for Murray, as he did not have as much rushing upside this season. He only rushed for four touchdowns, half of which came in one game. Murray dealt with his ACL injury in 2022-2023, so he has not finished as a top-ten fantasy QB since the 2021 season. Murray is still a young, talented, dual-threat QB who ranks just inside the top ten for the early 2025 fantasy football quarterback rankings.

8. Bo Nix

Nix had a great rookie season for the Broncos, finishing as a top-ten quarterback in both total points and fantasy points per game. He got off to a slow start, only throwing one touchdown in his first four weeks, but threw for at least two touchdowns in all but three games since that start. Interestingly, Nix had four rushing touchdowns in the first eight weeks but has not had one since. The Broncos should get Nix more help next season and expect a sophomore surge for Nix next season.

7. Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes had a disappointing season for his standards finishing as QB10 in total points and QB11 in points per game. However, he had one of the highest floors in fantasy. He was a top-20 quarterback every week and scored at least 12 fantasy points in every game. He finished as a top-ten quarterback in the fantasy semifinals and finals. Hopefully, wide receiver Rashee Rice can fully recover and be back healthy (although there is still a looming suspension) and will help the Chiefs offense. Mahomes ranks as QB7 in the early 2025 fantasy football rankings.

6. Baker Mayfield

Mayfield had a career year with the Buccaneers in his second season with them. He finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback and it was his second straight season with a top-ten finish. He finished as a top-ten weekly quarterback in 12 weeks during the fantasy football season this year. Mayfield will probably be losing one of his top weapons, Chris Godwin, in free agency, but the emergence of rookie Jalen McMillan will take his place. Mayfield ranks just outside of the top five for next season among quarterbacks.

5. Joe Burrow

Burrow lit up the scoreboard for the Bengals, having to keep up with the opponent team as the Bengals defense was terrible. Burrow finished as the QB3 in fantasy this season. He finished as a top-two weekly quarterback five times this season. Burrow became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 250 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in eight consecutive games. He leads the NFL in passing yards and passing touchdowns on the season. Burrow does not have the rushing upside as the other quarterbacks ahead of him, but his passing volume makes him a top-five quarterback next season.

4. Jalen Hurts

Hurts finished outside the top-ten fantasy quarterbacks for the first time since 2021, but it was his fourth straight season as a top-ten quarterback in fantasy. The injury in Week 16 that cost him Week 17 killed fantasy managers in the playoffs that were riding with him all year. Hurts finished as a top-ten quarterback nine times this year. He finished as QB6 in PPG. Hurts’ rushing ability keeps him as a top-five fantasy quarterback for 2025.

3. Jayden Daniels

Daniels had a terrific rookie season, finishing as a top-five quarterback in fantasy this season. He took the Commanders to the playoffs for the first time since 2020 as one of the wildcards in the NFC. Daniels got off to a great start, finishing as a top-five quarterback in three of the first four weeks, before hitting a bit of a slump. However, he finished the fantasy season with five straight top-seven finishes. Dual-threat quarterbacks are the way to go in fantasy, and Daniels will be one of those for a long time. Daniels ranks third in the early 2025 redraft quarterback rankings.

2. Lamar Jackson

Jackson had a marvelous season, finishing as the #1 quarterback in fantasy football in 2024. He finished as a top-ten quarterback in all but two weeks this season. His consistency was off the charts. Jackson will finish with over 4000 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, 800 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns. He will enter 2025 as a 28-year-old entering his eighth season in the NFL. Jackson will be one of the first two quarterbacks taken in fantasy drafts next summer.

1. Josh Allen

Here are Allen’s finishes in the quarterback position in the last five seasons, starting with 2020: QB1, QB1, QB2, QB1, and QB2. No one has been better in fantasy than Allen over the last half-decade, and he will try to win his first MVP in 2024. Allen broke fantasy football in Week 14 by scoring 51.88 fantasy points after having three passing and three rushing touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass this year. There is nothing that will stop Allen next season, putting him on the top of the 2025 early quarterback rankings for fantasy football redraft leagues.
