Some players are valued extremely differently every year between redraft, dynasty, and best ball formats. Let’s address the elephant in the room, these are all vastly different formats with even more different strategies. No matter how forward-thinking dynasty players are, their immediate production impacts their market price. With that in mind, here are some players with a 10+ ADP difference between formats, meaning someone is mispriced. There have been plenty of drafts at this point in the offseason, and finding incorrectly valued players in fantasy football can be an extremely helpful exercise in all formats.

Incorrectly Valued Players in Fantasy Football 2024
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR 43 Redraft
We all loved JSN coming into the 2023 NFL Draft. JSN was my WR1 in 2023, and the number 12 overall player in the class. But with his WR43 redraft price, is his WR27 price in dynasty really worth it? If he underperforms in year two, it’s extremely unlikely he will maintain his dynasty price. On the flip side, if we still believe in his talent, WR43 is extremely low given Tyler Lockett isn’t a spring chicken these days.
Davante Adams, WR 9 Redraft
If Davante Adams is the WR9 right now, why is he outside the top 30 wide receivers in dynasty? Yes, there’s a point to youth, but an immediate contributor at a position where age cliffs are a little less sticky can offer value for years to come. Either he falls of the cliff in 2024 and is severely over drafted in redraft, or he continues to dominate and is a value in dynasty.
Rome Odunze, WR 39 Redraft
Similarly to JSN, Odunze has a steep climb to immediate production. There’s something to waiting for a year three breakout, but unless you’re in a long term rebuild his price in dynasty is likely too steep. In a world where Caleb Williams could break every rookie record, Odunze could very well smash his WR39 redraft price. Or, he underperforms year one, a few believers fall off, and they’re left holding the bag while new shiny toys enter the league in 2025.
Jonathon Brooks, RB 25 Redraft
Yes, he’s coming off of an ACL tear. Of all the players on this list, his difference in price makes the most sense. However, Day Two rookies with a clear path to touches don’t often slack year one. He’s lightning in a bottle, and redraft players are likely just slow on the draw with Brooks and his ceiling. He’s going to be a favorite for early trade articles in redraft, and should be prioritized in drafts in 2024.

Drake Maye, QB 32 Redraft
Drake Maye had over 1,000 rushing yards in his last two college seasons. He’s built like Justin Herbert, but plays like a more reckless version. If he sits behind Jakobi Brissett for a couple of weeks, that’s fine, but when he plays he has the rushing upside and arm talent to elevate an offense himself. Why in the world is he one of the last starting quarterbacks selected (Both Raiders starters barely behind him)? The dynasty community has already bought completely in, and if they’re right with their QB18 rankings (which might still be too low) he’s a huge value in redraft.
