Jacksonville Jaguars Three Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft

Filling out the Jacksonville Jaguars' roster by rebuilding the offensive line with a three-round 2024 NFL mock draft.
Jaguars Mock Draft

The 2023 season was a disappointment for the Jacksonville Jaguars as, after losing five of its last six games to finish 9-8, they missed the playoffs. After winning the AFC South and reaching the divisional round last year, many expected the Jaguars to emerge as Super Bowl contenders in 2023. However, they fell well short of that. The silver lining is that they improved their draft capital, allowing the Jaguars to get better players in this mock draft.

Jacksonville heads into the offseason looking to retain key free agents edge rusher Josh Allen and wide receiver Calvin Ridley. They also will look to prioritize improving their offensive line as the poor play of the unit led to Trevor Lawrence being banged up down the stretch of the season.

Without further ado, let’s get into this Jacksonville Jaguars three-round 2024 NFL mock draft.

Three Round Jacksonville Jaguars Mock Draft

Round One, 17th Overall: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

It takes a special prospect to warrant drafting a center with a top-20 pick. However, Jackson Powers-Johnson‘s Senior Bowl solidified that he is good enough to warrant that.  With the Jaguars need at interior offensive line, Powers-Johnson is an intriguing option for them in the first round of this mock draft.

Powers-Johnson checks all the boxes that you want from a center prospect. He is a terrific athlete as he has great foot quickness and balance to go along with good power. He was remarkably consistent as a pass protector at Oregon, allowing just one pressure throughout pass block snaps in the 2023 season. He’s also a dominant run blocker who can make second-level blocks more consistently than most center prospects.

Round Two, 48th Overall: Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State

Regardless of whether the Jaguars re-sign Josh Allen, Jacksonville could use more depth in their edge rusher rotation.  While Travon Walker is a solid player, he has yet to live up to his number-one overall selection.  Thus, the Jaguars adding another edge rusher through this mock draft makes plenty of sense, assuming the right player is still on the board.  Chop Robinson would be a good fit in Jacksonville as he could be a pass rush specialist early in his career while he develops.

Chop Robinson’s draft stock has fallen a bit as he was considered a likely top-15 pick before the season, but there is still a lot to like about his projection to the next level. Robinson’s blend of speed, burst, quickness, and bend make him a good projection to the NFL as a pass rusher.

Round Three, 96th Overall: Mason McCormick, G, South Dakota State

The interior offensive line is the biggest need for the Jaguars headed into the offseason as they have needs at center and guard. In this 2024 NFL mock draft scenario, the Jaguars double down on the interior offensive line with Powers-Johnson in the first round and Mason McCormick in the third round.

McCormick is a four-year starter at South Dakota State including this season where he was named to the FCS All-American team. McCormick boosted his draft stock at the Shrine Bowl as he was a standout performer elevating his stock to a projected third or fourth-round pick.
