What a great week of football. This column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent of Yahoo leagues or less each week. For reference, the threshold used for Wins and Losses in this article will be if the quarterbacks can score at least 17 points, if the tight ends can score at least eight PPR points, and if the rest can score at least 10 PPR points. Here are the Week 13 streamers.

Week 13 Streamers
Quarterback – Gardner Minshew (IND – 16%) @ TEN
Gardner Minshew is this generation’s Ryan Fitzpatrick. A fun backup (and likely journeyman) quarterback who can be serviceable as a starter and a solid streaming candidate in fantasy football. He’s a wildcard weekly but can put up 30-point fantasy performances any given week, especially in good matchups. That’s what Minshew has this week when the Indianapolis Colts take on the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are a far better run defense than a pass defense.
This last week, Minshew was able to put up 15.64 fantasy points and that was without a single passing touchdown. That’s a bit fluky and I’d think he gets at least one passing touchdown this week. The Colts currently sit as 2.5-point road favorites with a solid 22.5-point implied team total. Minshew looks set up to be one of the best Week 13 streamers among quarterbacks.
Honorable Mentions – Derek Carr (NO – 44%) v DET, Matthew Stafford (LAR – 48%) v CLE
Running Back – Antonio Gibson (WAS – 50%) v MIA
The running back waiver wire looks like slim pickings this week. On one hand that’s a good thing meaning there weren’t too many injuries, but on the other hand, it makes it harder if you are in need of a running back. Antonio Gibson looks like one of the best Week 13 streamers at the running back position. The Washington Commanders take on the Miami Dolphins this week so the matchup on paper doesn’t look like the easiest as the Dolphins allow the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs on the season. However, Gibson is more of the pass-catching back for the Commanders so that could lend to more snaps and touches this week.
The Commanders are currently 9.5-point underdogs so the projected game script should play into Gibson’s favor. He’s seen 20 targets over the last four games including at least four in all four games. Gibson has caught 18 of those and turned them into 128 yards and a score. Gibson could be a solid option if you’re in a pinch this week.
Honorable Mentions – Tyjae Spears (TEN – 39%) v IND, Samaje Perine (DEN – 20%) @ HOU
Wide Receiver – Demario Douglas (NE – 36%) v LAC
What is it going to take to finally get Demario Douglas over 50% rostered? Until that happens, I’m going to keep recommending him for this segment because he just keeps producing. Douglas has now scored double-digit fantasy points in four of the last five weeks. This last week he was able to hit that threshold despite leaving with an injury. During that same span, Douglas has seen at least six targets in all five games. In total, he’s caught 26 of 38 targets for an average of more than five receptions and nearly eight targets per game. That includes nine targets in each of the last two games.
It’s clear that he’s the alpha wide receiver for the New England Patriots at this point and they are trying to find ways to get the ball in his hands. This week he gets a juicy matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers defense has allowed the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers so far in 2023. Douglas looks to be one of the best Week 13 streamers among all wide receivers and someone who needs to be rostered long-term and in many more leagues.

2. Deebo Samuel (7.8)
3. Demario Douglas (7.3)

5. Tyreek Hill (6.3) pic.twitter.com/CE0iB8Kq46— 🗣🎙‼️ (@LanceTHESPOKEN) November 27, 2023
Honorable Mentions – Jayden Reed (GB – 48%) v KC, Curtis Samuel (WAS – 28%) v MIA
Tight End – Pat Freiermuth (PIT – 48%) v ARI
I’m not sure if it was the matchup last week or the fact that Matt Canada is no longer running this Pittsburgh Steelers offense (or just simply coincidence), but Pat Freiermuth finally had himself a big day in 2023. He was a very popular tight end breakout candidate heading into the year but started off slow and then was placed on the IR with an injury. Freiermuth returned last week but was barely involved. This week was much different as he caught nine of his 11 targets for 120 yards producing 24.00 fantasy points. The Steelers offense looked revitalized in their first game sans Canada and it will be interesting to see if they can keep it up this week against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals’ defense is not a strong one and not one to fear. Freiermuth looks like one of the best Week 13 streamers at the tight end position and someone to hold as a potential every-week starter if this usage holds.
