Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is not having fun on his current team and could request a trade. After hauling in just two receptions in their win over the New England Patriots, Adams expressed frustration with his limited role, saying that “I’m not just here to hang out.” Adams, currently playing in his age-31 season, likely wants a chance to be a featured part of an offense that can compete to win a Super Bowl.
The biggest question is whether or not the Raiders would actually trade Davante Adams. At 3-3, the team is very much in the Wild Card hunt, and head coach Josh McDaniels might need a playoff birth if he wants to keep his job. There is no denying that the 2023 Raiders are better with Davante Adams on the roster, but with Jimmy Garoppolo sidelined, Vegas might decide to play for 2024. If that happens, the Raiders will trade Adams, and these five teams make the most sense as potential destinations.

Top 5 Davante Adams Trade Destinations, Ranked
Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens invested heavily in the wide receiver position throughout the offseason, but not every decision they made is paying off. Rookie first-round pick Zay Flowers looks like a star in the making, but Odell Beckham and Rashod Bateman aren’t holding up their end of the bargain. Baltimore has one of the best defenses in the league and an offensive coordinator who actually believes in the forward pass, so this team should be all-in on winning a Super Bowl. There is no better way to address their biggest weakness than pulling off a trade for Davante Adams. With Adams, Flowers, and tight end Mark Andrews, the Ravens would have the offensive firepower to go blow for blow with any team in the league.
Detroit Lions
Dan Campbell’s rebuild in Detroit is firing on all cylinders. For the first time in forever, the Detroit Lions are legitimate contenders, thanks in large part to the mastermind that is offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. Johnson will surely get a head coaching job in the upcoming cycle, and the Lions need to try to win it all while he’s still in town. Amon-Ra St. Brown is a reliable receiver, but this team needs a second proven option. Perhaps the team could trade former first-round pick Jameson Williams to the rebuilding Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for the veteran Davante Adams.
Dallas Cowboys
After years of being one of the more reliable deep threats in football, Brandin Cooks is starting to show signs of slowing down. The first-year Cowboy has yet to record more than 36 yards in a single game, which means that this passing attack once again goes through CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys will need a second starting-caliber receiver if they want to go blow-for-blow with the San Francisco 49ers, and Davante Adams is a perfect fit for the job. Lamb and Adams would form arguably the best wide receiver duo in football, giving Dak Prescott at least one open target on every single play.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers will not compete for the Super Bowl this year, but they could still consider a Davante Adams trade. This team needs to find out what they have in Jordan Love, as the results have been mixed through the first six weeks of the season. Young quarterbacks need a proven commodity at wide receiver if they want to succeed, and the Packers don’t have that at the moment. Christian Watson has battled injuries all year long, and Romeo Doubs is a fine complementary player, but not the type of guy you build an offense around. Davante Adams obviously fits Matt LaFleur’s offense and should help Love turn into a franchise quarterback.
Carolina Panthers
Speaking of teams that won’t compete, the 2023 Carolina Panthers are going nowhere fast. However, it’s not all bad news, as first-overall pick Bryce Young is getting better on a weekly basis despite a complete lack of talent at wide receiver. Adam Thielen is turning back the clock, but nobody else can do much of anything. Getting Davante Adams in a trade would give Young two reliable receivers, allowing Young an opportunity to actually turn into a franchise quarterback.
