Top DraftKings DFS Monday Night Football Plays

The “Who’s Going To Stop Him?” DraftKings DFS Pick – Donald Parham

He should be back from his wrist injury this week. But more importantly, he’s valued at just $3,000 on this DraftKings DFS slate.

Donald Parham has seen five red zone targets this season, the same number as Dalton Schultz, but Schultz has played one game more than Parham. Parham is 6′-7″ tall too, so it’s virtually impossible to defend against him at the back of the endzone. The Cowboys are allowing 12.8 DraftKings points per game to tight ends this season, making him a smart DFS play.

The DraftKings DFS “Surely He’ll Come Good” Pick – Michael Gallup

On that theme, only nine teams have conceded more DraftKings points than the Chargers this season. Michael Gallup figures to be lined up opposite Michael Davis this week. Davis hasn’t had the greatest start to the 2023 season. He’s allowing 71.9% of the passes thrown in his direction to be caught. He’s also allowing a 133.9 passer rating when he’s been targeted. And he’s conceded three touchdowns in the three games he’s started this season.

Gallup only costs $3,500 making him the sixth most expensive receiver in this game. He’s caught 15 of his 22 targets so far this season and he’s averaging 12 yards per reception, so he’s definitely a bargain.

The Expensive But Worth It Pick – Jake Ferguson

Only CeeDee Lamb has seen more targets for the Cowboys than Ferguson has this season. He’s also the tight end who has seen the most red zone targets in the league. Chargers are ranked 12th against tight ends this season, they are scoring more than 10 points per game on DraftKings.

At $3,900 on the DraftKings DFS slate, he is the most expensive tight end, but he averages 2 points more per game than the second-best tight end.

The DraftKings DFS Boom or Bust Pick – Derius Davis

Derrius Davis is a real “opportunity vs. ability” kind of prospect and that’s why he’s only $3,300 on this DraftKings DFS slate. He’s only seeing 2.3% of the Chargers targets in 2023, but he’s third in the league when it comes to yards after the catch. His 11.3 yards per reception are behind only DeAndre Carter and Christian Watson. He’s yet to drop a catch in 2023. He’s only had four carries as a running back, but he’s averaging over 15 yards per attempt.

Only two Chargers caught more passes than Davis in their last game. If he gets on the field against the Cowboys, he’ll either be up against Jourdan Lewis or a safety. Lewis has allowed 35 yards after the catch on six completed passes this season. And the Cowboys safeties have allowed 134 and 188 passing yards respectively this season.

The “It’s A Long Shot, But It Might Just Work” Pick – Deuce Vaughn

At $2,200 Vaughn is an absolute bargain, especially with the prospect of Ka’ Vontae Turpin missing this game through injury.

Vaughn has only had 20 touches this season, but he has recorded an 11-yard reception and a 13-yard run. Turpin has been the Cowboys’ go-to guy on gadget plays and when they need someone to inject some blistering pace. Vaughn offers similar qualities and he had 13 touches in his last two games.
