Top Five NFL Bold Predictions of 2023

NFL Bold Predictions

With the NFL regular season nearly four months away, it’s time to predict the 2023 NFL season with the five bold predictions for 2023.

Top Five NFL Bold Predictions Of 2023

1. The Bengals Win The Super Bowl Against The San Francisco 49ers

Since arriving in Cincinnati, Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have been contenders in the AFC. As for the San Francisco 49ers, they came close last season with an irrelevant quarterback in Brock Purdy and watched as he guided them deep into the postseason. The 49ers came within a game short of making the Super Bowl loosing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. With Purdy returning alongside running back Christian McCaffrey for the entire season, this team should be on the short list of Super Bowl favorites.

2. Mark Andrews Will Be The Leading Receiver for the Baltimore Ravens

With Lamar Jackson back with the Baltimore Ravens after signing a new contract, it’s time for Ravens tight end Mark Andrews to step things up. That’s why he will be Baltimore’s leading receiver in 2023. He’s not just good… he’s really good. Odell Beckham Jr. was signed in the offseason but he’s getting up there in age.  He will have flashes of his rookie self this season but it will be all Andrews this season.

3. The Patriots Will Win the AFC East

Even though Tom Brady is no longer with the Patriots, you still have familiar faces on the team. Bill Belichick is still the head coach while Bill O’Brien is back with some new skills he learned in Alabama and potentially restoring the Patriot way. Even though the Patriots finally made the playoffs in 2021, the team nearly made the postseason in 2022 with Mac Jones as the signal caller. Now with Bill O’Brien back in New England, Jones can finally get the help he needs to bring the Patriots back to the top.

4. The Packers Will Win 10 Games

This isn’t an Aaron Rodgers take. This is a Matt LaFleur, Jordan Love and Brian Gutekunst take. I think it’s very possible that, in the weak-kneed NFC North, we’ll have a pair of teams with double-digit wins. In this case, the Packers and the Lions. One reason? The Packers’ schedule is not a gantlet by any stretch of the imagination. Green Bay is 24th in opponent strength of schedule and plays only one team coming off a bye. The Packers have three short weeks, which is a lot, but is less punishing when your quarterback is under 25.

5. Anthony Richardson Will Win Offensive Rookie of the Year

This list of NFL bold predictions ends with some rookies. Throughout the NFL Draft process, many experts were debating on which quarterbacks to draft first: Anthony Richardson, C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young. Richardson had a better overall combine than Young but Young was drafted ahead of Richardson. While it’s anyone’s guess who will have the better career, Richardson’s elite athleticism should steal headlines and give him the title of Offensive Rookie of the Year.
