Even though the Los Angeles Rams had a rough season, Bobby Wagner remained one of the best linebackers in the league. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, the former second-round pick finished the season with a career-high six sacks, 140 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, 10 quarterback hits, two interceptions, and five passes defended.

Wagner built on his impressive rookie season and established himself as one of the best linebackers in the game in 2013. Starting and appearing in all 14 games, the linebacker finished the season with 120 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, six quarterback hits, and five sacks while playing a featured role on one of the greatest defenses in NFL history. The 2013 Seahawks won Super Bowl 48 in dominant fashion over the Denver Broncos.
After two strong seasons, Wagner improved yet again and proved that he was likely the best linebacker of his era. Over the next nine seasons, Wagner made eight Pro Bowls while earning First-Team All-Pro honors six times and Second-Team All-Pro honors on three additional occasions. On top of all that, he also an MVP vote in 2014 and finished fourth in the Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2017.
