NFL veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins signed a new contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Hollins, a former fourth-round pick, spent the 2022 season with the Las Vegas Raiders but has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins.

Mack Hollins, Atlanta Falcons, Agree to Contract
After bouncing around the league early in his career, Mack Hollins had a breakout season in 2022. Appearing in all 17 games while making 16 starts, the wide receiver finished the season with 57 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns on 94 targets. Additionally, Hollins also recorded four carries for 40 yards. Each one of these marks signified a career-best for Hollins, most of which are by a comfortable margin.
Mack Hollins originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, the North Carolina product began his career in a supporting role. Appearing in all 16 games, the rookie finished his inaugural campaign with 16 receptions for 226 yards and one touchdown on 22 targets while helping Philadelphia win their Super Bowl in franchise history.
Unfortunately, Hollins was unable to build on his rookie season. In the days leading up to the 2018 season opener, Hollins landed on the injured reserve with a groin injury, prematurely ending his season. He returned to the field in 2019, but failed to make much of an impact for Philadelphia. Through 12 games, Hollins recorded just 10 receptions for 125 yards. The Eagles released Hollins early in December, and the former fourth-round pick spent the remainder of the season with the Miami Dolphins.
Hollins’ first season in Miami looked a lot like his previous seasons with the Eagles. Appearing in all 16 games, the wideout recorded 16 receptions for 176 yards and one touchdown on 25 targets. The Dolphins liked what they saw, however, and signed Mack Hollins to a contract extension for 2021. Hollins rewarded that faith by recording 14 receptions for 223 yards and four touchdowns on 28 targets.
