Week 10 TNF betting

Week 10 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night with the Baltimore Ravens traveling to visit the Miami Dolphins. It has been a lost season for the Dolphins. The team as a whole has underperformed and 2nd-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has struggled to find consistency. The Ravens sit atop the AFC North and look to continue their recent dominance over the Dolphins. Baltimore has won eight of the last nine meetings. The start of the week also means it’s the first chance to build that bankroll. So let’s dive into the Week 10 edition of TNF betting information. As always our betting lines are provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Week 10 Thursday Night Football Betting Predictions

Baltimore Ravens (6-2) -7.5, ML-335 at Miami Dolphins ML +260 (2-7) O/U 46.5

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are coming off an exciting come from behind win over the Minnesota Vikings in week 9. Down as many as 14, the Ravens stormed back to a 34-31 win behind the leg of Justin Tucker. Winning fields goals are the norm for Tucker. The win was great, however, Baltimore failed to cover the -7 point spread.

In a game that featured nine, yes, nine turnovers, the Dolphins defeated the Houston Texans 17-9. Miami was able to do just enough with Jacoby Brissett playing for the injured Tagovailoa. At the time of this writing, it is expected that Brissett will play again on the short turnaround. Miami did cover the -4 point spread against the Texans.

Key Metrics/Information

  • Baltimore has won six of their last seven games
  • Mark Andrews has scored a touchdown in Baltimore’s last two Thursday Night games
  • Miami failed to cover the spread in five of their last six games
  • 5 of the last 6 Ravens road games have gone under the points total
  • Baltimore has defeated Miami by a combined 137-16 over their last three head to head meetings
  • Ravens are 3-5 ATS (against the spread) in 2021
  • Dolphins are 3-4-2 ATS in 2021

How to Bet this Game

On the surface, this looks like a game where the Ravens should win, and win big. Baltimore has the better quarterback, the better offense, better defense, better special teams. So again, easy win for the Ravens, right? If this game was being played on a Sunday, most likely, yes the Ravens roll. However, we have all seen that weird stuff happens on Thursday night.

This game looks too easy, so in situations like that, tend to lean the other way. All of the money will be on the Ravens. America is leaning one way and one way only, so when everyone zigs, you should zag. Week seven we saw the Cincinnati Bengals embarrass the Ravens at home 41-17. Last week, as we mentioned they were all out to beat the Vikings at home as well. Now, on the road against a backup quarterback, on short notice, naturally the pick is the Dolphins! Look for Miami to take shots down the field, insert trick plays and take chances normally you wouldn’t see. At 2-7, on the national stage, Coach Brian Flores will try and show he still has a few tricks up his sleeve.

The Pick and Props

Miami +7.5 and Over 46.5

Myles Gaskin Over 22.5 receiving yards

Mark Andrews over 4.5 receptions
