Strengths

Weaknesses

  • Has shown problems in pass protection;
  • Weakness in a lateral movement when rushing with the football;
  • More brute force than finesse;
  • Lacks evasiveness.

Teams With Need At Position: Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions

Projection: Second Round

Bottom Line on Rhamondre Stevenson

Stevenson is a big, burly running back who has good speed for his frame. His ability to be a serviceable receiver should add to the team’s interest in drafting the Oklahoma Sooner. While none of his tools are elite, he is a well-rounded running back who can one day be a starter for an NFL team. Stevenson will need time as a backup behind a veteran running back, but the potential is there. A team will likely see his toolset and draft him in the second round, or early third round at the latest.
