Perhaps the most well known full back in the NFL Kyle Juszczyk has signed a new contract with the San Francisco 49ers. The five-time Pro Bowler has been one of the best multi-tools in the league over the past seven seasons — contributing on passing, running, blocking, and special teams downs. Juszczyk has been the highest-paid full back in the NFL since signing with the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. During his eight-year career, Juszczyk has totaled 199 receptions, 1,849 receiving yards, 157 rushing yards, and 15 total touchdowns. He will turn 30 years old in April.

Kyle Juszczyk, San Francisco 49ers, Agree to Contract
Juszczyk entered the 2013 NFL Draft out of Harvard where he played tight end. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round with the 130th-overall pick. As a rookie, Juszczyk would play in each of Baltimore’s 16 games in 2013. His role was primarily on special teams where he played 373 of his 377 yearly snaps. Juszczyk would see an expanded role the following season in 2013. Head coach John Harbaugh would start Juszczyk in 14 games in 2014 and increase his snap count on offense from three in 2013 to 452 in 2014. He would feature mainly in the passing game for the Ravens catching 19 balls for 182 yards and one touchdown.
After establishing himself as a regular in 2014, Juszczyk would go on to play two more seasons with the Ravens. His most productive year would come in 2015. That season, Juszczyk recorded his highest Ravens totals in each receptions (51), scrimmage yards(324), total touches (43), and total touchdowns (four). 2016 would be Juszczyk’s final year as a Raven and saw him play a career-high 786 snaps (offensive and special teams combined) and get named to his first of five-straight Pro Bowls.
Juszczyk signed a four-year(s)/$20.85 million contract with the 49ers during the 2017 off-season. He would fit in soundly with Kyle Shanahan‘s offense and record a career-high in offensive snaps (663) and receiving yards (324) in 2016. Juszczyk would then total a career-high in touchdowns in 2020 with six. His biggest moment as a 49er came in Super Bowl LIV when Juszczyk caught a 15-yard check-down pass and took it all the way to the end zone for a touchdown. The score would tie the game 10-10.
