Another week of fantasy football action is in the books, as owners everywhere scour the waiver wire to find the best available Week 10 defense streams. Looking around the league shows that defenses like the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions offer the best chance of positive performance in the coming weeks.

Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions Highlight Fantasy Football Week 10 Defense Streams
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a bye week, which is always a good thing for fantasy football. What’s even better is facing off against Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. Turnovers and sacks are the most important thing for fantasy football scoring, and Jones is a gold mine for both. The former first-round pick holds on to the ball far too long and puts the ball in harms’ way at a dangerously high rate.
The Philadelphia Eagles are not the 1985 Bears, but they have a pretty solid secondary highlighted by Darius Slay and a good enough front seven. The Giants aren’t exactly the 1999 St. Louis Rams, so there probably won’t be too many points on the board when this thing is said and done.
Detroit Lions
When in doubt, target defenses going up against the NFC East. Washington Football Team quarterback Kyle Allen suffered a gruesome leg injury in Sunday’s loss, forcing Alex Smith back into the lineup. Smith played well overall, but he did throw three interceptions. Assuming Allen cannot play in Week 10, the Lions should have a good shot of hauling in a few more interceptions against Smith. At his best, the quarterback was not one to stretch the field, and he’ll need some time before he feels completely confident under center. Expect a few sacks and turnovers as Detroit slows down this relatively underwhelming offense.
New York Giants
Carson Wentz leads the league by a wide margin in turnover-worthy plays, according to Pro Football Focus. The New York Giants do not have a good defense by any stretch of the imagination, but they are capable of hauling in a few errant passes. Last week, New York recorded three interceptions against Alex Smith and the Washington Football Team, and they should be able to put up similar results this week. Wentz will finally have a solid supporting cast in Travis Fulgham, Jalen Reagor, and Dallas Goedert, but there should be a couple of errant passes as well.
