Since April, analysts and NFL fans from every corner of the country have been observing and speculating over every team, every player. With training camps and preseason drawing nearer, it’s been interesting to see which team is considered to have a top-tier wide receiver trio. We’ll start on a new slate for 2020 and look at every team’s top three receivers. Regardless of their length of time with the team, how they fit into the system is a factor. In no order, here are the five best wide receiver trios in the NFL – currently.

Kansas City Chiefs – Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman
The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the fastest receiver trios in the league. This team likes fast plays and they’ve chosen the right guys who are, well, fast. Tyreek Hill’s lightning speed is evident in every game. His speed isn’t his only asset. He’s largely considered one of the best all-rounders. Sammy Watkins showed up big in the Super Bowl, and he’ll hopefully show that same talent this season. Mecole Hardman’s stats are impressive. Last year – over 20 yards per catch and six touchdowns.
Denver Broncos – Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler
Big things are expected of this trio. In fact, Sayre Bedinger of Predominantly Orange believes they could be the best trio by the end of the year. He also feels they are the best trio 25-and-under. Courtland Sutton shone in recent times and is one of the best young receivers in currently. Jerry Jeudy was highly regarded in the leadup to the Draft. Both he and K.J. Hamler have a lot to offer in terms of speed. Hamler is especially known for it. Jeudy is a remarkable route runner. They’re ready to play at a high level.
Dallas Cowboys – Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb
Some have ventured so far as to label these three as the best right now – but they’ll have to work to prove them right. Amari Cooper was traded by the Oakland Raiders but will no doubt be a consistent playmaker for the Cowboys. He’ll likely be worth every cent of that monster contract with Dallas. Last season, he tallied over 1,500 yards and eight touchdowns. Meanwhile, Michael Gallup had a productive season, catching 66 passes for over 1,000 yards and six touchdowns. The Cowboys drafted CeeDee Lamb, much to the envy of many teams. He’s the most physical after a catch, while Cooper is well-rounded.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Tyler Johnson
Mike Evans carries this trio. In his six professional seasons, he hasn’t missed 1,000 yards. And that’s despite playing just 13 games last season. With 48 touchdown grabs, he has made a name for himself as an elite WR1. Chris Godwin made a huge impact with 16 touchdowns in two seasons, and 86 receptions for 1,333 yards last year. Evans and Godwin make a formidable duo but it’s believed rookie Tyler Johnson will fit perfectly into a slot role in a pass-heavy attack.
Arizona Cardinals – DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk
They could easily become the best receivers in the game this season. DeAndre Hopkins has the ability to dominate regardless of the type of coverage he’s faced with. Veteran Larry Fitzgerald is as savvy as they come. Complete the trifecta with the young Christian Kirk and they will be a threat to defenses everywhere. These three are versatile and speedy, with enough skills to beat an offense in so many ways.
