13 weeks of NFL action are officially in the books, which means it’s time for the fantasy football playoffs. Whether you’re looking to take home a championship or just avoid coming in last, now is the time to search the waiver wire for all the best available tight ends. Heading into Week 14, you should set your eyes on Jack Doyle, Mike Gesicki, Vance McDonald, and Tyler Higbee.
Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you’re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.

Jack Doyle, Mike Gesicki Highlight Fantasy Football Week 14 Tight End Waiver Wire Claims
Jack Doyle
Eric Ebron is done for the year, leaving Jack Doyle as the only tight end of note in Indianapolis. Doyle had a great game as the TE1 in Indy, recording six receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Jack Doyle hasn’t done much for fantasy the past two seasons, but he used to be one of the more reliable low-end TE1’s in football. Ebron and injuries eradicated his opportunities, but both factors appear to be in the rear-view for the remainder of the season. Doyle isn’t going to put up George Kittle numbers by any means, but you can comfortably stream him for the remainder of the season.
Mike Gesicki
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki continues to provide some fantasy value as a streaming candidate. Last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, the former second-round pick recorded five receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. This is obviously a great outing for a steam, but it’s far from the only opportunity he’s had in the passing game. Gesicki has been a key piece of the passing game since Preston Williams went down, recording six or more targets in each of the past five games. That usage should continue in Week 14, so Gesicki should have every chance for another strong outing.
Vance McDonald
Trusting Vance McDonald is strictly about the matchup. McDonald isn’t seeing a particularly high target share, nor is he a part of a high-powered offense. However, he doesn’t need to be to find success against the Arizona Cardinals. Normally matchups are overrated, but the Arizona Cardinals are so bad at defending tight ends that you need to start anyone in that matchup. McDonald should see the majority of the tight end targets and should have a solid outing.
Tyler Higbee
Gerald Everett missed Week 13’s action, opening the door for Tyler Higbee to have a monster game. The tight end made the most of his opportunities, recording seven receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown. This performance came against the Arizona Cardinals, so you should take these numbers with a grain of salt. Arizona is easily the worst team in the league at defending the tight end position, so these numbers will probably regress moving forward. However, Higbee should still see a decent share of targets as long as Gerald Everett remains sidelined.
