10 weeks of NFL play are officially in the books, which means bye weeks are in full swing. Gone are the days where you could just coast by on a strong draft. Now more than ever, you’ll need to search the waiver wire for the best available defense streams. Heading into Week 11, you should set your eyes on the Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Jets.

Top Defense Wavier Wire Streams – Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders do not have a great defense, but I’m pretty sure a YMCA unit could slow down the Cincinnati Bengals. Ryan Finley did not impress during his first career start, as the rookie threw for just 167 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. It’s hard to blame him for the lack of success, as Cincinnati could very well be the least talented team in football. The offensive line is a mess, Zac Taylor is struggling as a first-year head coach, and Joe Mixon and Tyler Boyd simply aren’t game-changing weapons.
The Raiders struggle against good offenses, but they should have no trouble taking advantage of this disappointing unit. The Raiders should finish as a top-10 fantasy defense with a handful of sacks and a couple of turnovers.
Dallas Cowboys
Matthew Stafford missed Week 10’s action after re-aggravating a back injury which dates back to 2018. Jeff Driskel made the start in his place, which obviously didn’t go that well. Driskel completed just 27 of his 46 attempts for 269 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. This wasn’t a one-week fluke, as we have enough of a sample to know that Jeff Driskel simply isn’t that good at the game of football.
If Stafford misses another game of action, then the Dallas Cowboys are a perfect stream for Week 11. The Cowboys are by no means the 1985 Bears, but they’re capable of stopping a bad offense. Stafford has played like a top-10 quarterback throughout the season, and Detroit’s offense is considerably worse without their franchise quarterback. If Stafford can’t go in Week 11, the Cowboys are a smart, safe stream for the week.
New York Jets
Yes, the New York Jets just got destroyed by the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins in consecutive weeks. No, this is not a good defense. The Jets are bad, but they’re considerably better than their Week 11 competition. The Washington Redskins haven’t scored a touchdown since the Clinton Administration, and that might not change in Week 10. Head coach Bill Callahan wants to run the everlasting crap out of the ball, even when it’s an objectively bad strategy. Rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins, meanwhile, simply doesn’t look ready for the NFL stage.
This combination of bad coaching and subpar quarterback combines to create a perfect stream that even the Jets can’t mess up. New York’s front seven should have a field day against Washington’s offensive line while Jamal Adams could easily come away with a few turnovers.
