Mike Evans has been the top fantasy and DFS wide receiver over the last month. He tops the list of core plays for Week 10. Find out who else to build your daily lineups around this week.
Play Mike Evans: Week 10 Core DFS Plays
Week 10 DFS Quarterbacks
Lamar Jackson $7300
Lamar Jackson continues to find ways to put up huge fantasy numbers. He is squarely in the conversation for league MVP. Not even the recently undefeated New England Patriots could slow him down; the Pats are now 8-1. Next up, Jackson gets a pristine matchup with the tanking Cincinnati Bengals. When he last saw the Bengals in Week Six, Jackson amassed 33.6 DK points in the game. Just keep locking him in until his price becomes prohibitive.
Ryan Tannehill $5100
Since taking over as the starter for the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, Ryan Tannehill has been a solid fantasy contributor. However, his price on Draft Kings has yet to catch up. Tannehill plays the Kansas City Chiefs this week. The current consensus line is O/U 48.5 Chiefs -6. The Titans will need Tannehill at his best if they are going to keep pace with the Chiefs high-powered offense. At only 5.1k, 4x or 5x ROI is undoubtedly achievable for Tannehill if he continues to play the way he has the last three weeks.
Ryan Tannehill This Season (NFL Rank):
Comp: 73.1% (2nd)
1st Down Pct: 42.3% (2nd)
TD Pct: 6.4% (3rd)
Yds/Att: 8.3 (7th)(Minimum 75 pass attempts)

Week 10 DFS Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey $10,500
Christian McCaffrey has consistently put up ridiculous numbers. The amazing thing about that is, he’s done it with the backup quarterback in the game. What’s even more impressive is the fact that he’s done it against defenses that rank in the top half of the league defending against running backs.
This week he finally faces an opponent who ranks in the bottom half of the league defending against running backs. The Green Bay Packers rank 24th in DK points allowed to the position. There is enough value on the slate to easily fit CMC in your lineup; I recommend doing so.
David Montgomery $5300
The Chicago Bears have finally realized that Mitchell Trubisky is bad at quarterbacking. The recipe for success in Chicago is running the ball and playing tough defense. In the last two weeks, David Montgomery is averaging 24 carries per game and a 16.6% target share. The training wheels have been removed, and the rookie has responded with back-to-back big fantasy games. This week he faces the Detroit Lions who rank dead last in DK points allowed to running backs. The matchup is great, and the price is right.
NFL leaders in carries inside the opponent's 5 yard line:
1. David Montgomery – 11
1. Sony Michel – 11
3. Dalvin Cook – 10
4. Mark Ingram – 9
4. Frank Gore – 9
6. Jordan Howard – 8
6. Josh Jacobs – 8— Mike Clay (@MikeClayNFL) November 5, 2019
Kareem Hunt $3000
Kareem Hunt is back, but I think Draft Kings missed the message. He is priced at the bare minimum this week. Cleveland Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens already eluded to the notion of Hunt playing a role in the offense this week. While we don’t know for sure how much involvement Hunt will have in his first game with the Browns, he doesn’t need to do a whole lot to hit value at $3000.
He has the talent to rip off a big run or two. Who knows, maybe he gets in the end zone. After all, the Buffalo Bills defense is strong in the secondary, which forces offenses to rely on their run game to try to beat them.
Week 10 DFS Wide Receivers
Mike Evans $7600
Mike Evans has been a beast this season in Bruce Arians’ system. He has lead all players in DK points scored multiple weeks already this year. It’s hard to ignore the 45 targets Evans has seen in the last three weeks. This week, Evans plays the Arizona Cardinals who rank 21st versus wide receivers.
This game will be played at a fast pace affording players from both offenses plenty of opportunities to compile points. Evans’ upside in such a matchup is very appealing for DFS. This is a matchup to exploit with some game-stacks.

Golden Tate $5900
Golden Tate is going to be a busy guy on Sunday. Sterling Shepard (concussion) is currently looking unlikely to play, and Evan Engram (foot) is already ruled out. The New York Giants face the New York Jets this week, in what amounts to a home game for both teams. The Jets rank 27th in DK points allowed to wide receivers. Tate will likely see a high target volume this week, giving him a safe floor. The matchup with the Jets gives him a high ceiling as well.
Allen Hurns $3000
Allen Hurns is set to take on a larger role in the Miami Dolphins offense with Preston Williams now on IR. He and Ryan Fitzpatrick have already shown some chemistry on the field lately, so more snaps, should mean more production for Hurns. At only $3000, Hurns doesn’t have to do much to provide good value. He’s a decent minimum-salary punt play for GPP lineups.
Week 10 DFS Tight Ends
Austin Hooper $5500
Austin Hooper has been the number one tight end in fantasy football to date. However, Draft Kings still refuses to price him like an elite tight end. Use that to your advantage and continue plugging Hooper in, with his safe floor and massive ceiling. The New Orleans Saints–Atlanta Falcons game is one to target with some game-stacks on Sunday, and Hooper should be in the majority of those lineups.
Rhett Ellison $2500
With so few good options at the top of the tight end pool on the main slate this week, it makes sense to pivot down to someone cheap. That way, if the top tier options falter, you will be at an advantage over much of the field who is almost certain to gravitate to the top-level tight ends.
Rhett Ellison will get the start at tight end for New York and fill in for Engram, who has been ruled out for the game. With Engram out, and Shepard looking doubtful, the target share could be slightly more compact this week to Ellison’s benefit. If the top-level tight ends flop this week, Ellison won’t need to do much to be of value. That said, Ellison is best kept for GPP lineups.
Decent chance Giants are without Evan Engram, Sterling Shepard, Jon Halapio, and Mike Remmers on Sunday, based on Thursday's injury report: https://t.co/ru5zVHAmCC

Week 10 DFS Defense
Saints Defense $3700
The Saints defense has been very good all season. This week, they play the Falcons who have been, well, they have been mostly bad. Atlanta can’t run the ball, so they will almost certainly be forced to go pass-heavy, which plays into the strength of the Saints defense. The Saints rank eighth in sack per game (3.0) and fifth in third-down conversion allowed per game (4.0) per teamrankings.com
Steelers Defense $2600
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the best fantasy defenses this season. Pittsburgh’s defense is second in the league in takeaways per game (2.8) and third in sacks per game (3.6). They have scored double-digit DK points in each of their last six games. Next up is a Los Angeles Rams team that looks like a shell of its former self because of bad offensive line play and a quickly deteriorating Todd Gurley. Jared Goff will have his hands full with the Steelers defense this week.
