The fantasy football playoffs are officially upon us in all league formats. Now more than ever, it’s never been more important to monitor the waiver wire and make smart pickups to maximize your point total. With that in mind, Tim Patrick and Kenny Stills are both poised for big weeks and are likely available on your waiver wire.

Fantasy Football: Tim Patrick, Kenny Stills Highlight Week 15 Wide Receiver Waiver Claims
Tim Patrick
Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick may have usurped Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton for the Emmanuel Sanders role in the Broncos offense. Making his first start of the season, the rookie receiver recorded seven receptions for 85 yards on ten targets. Patrick led the team in all the aforementioned categories and looks to be the most dynamic receiver left in Denver.
Patrick and the Broncos face a decent challenge in the Cleveland Browns before facing off against the Oakland Raiders in Week 16. Starting Patrick is a risk, as the rookie receiver has such a small sample size. However, he has a high ceiling and can be a good late-season add if you’re looking for receiver help.
Kenny Stills
Earlier in the week, Kenny Stills complained that he was open, but he just wasn’t getting targets. Well, in Week 14 he got targets, and the talented deep threat made the most of them. Still finished his night with eight receptions for 135 yards and one touchdown, putting up one of the best stat lines of anyone. What’s more impressive is that nobody else on the Dolphins had more than one reception.
The only reason he’s not above Patrick on this list is that of the uncertain quarterback situation. Ryan Tannehill suffered an ankle injury midway through Week 14’s action, forcing him to miss a part of the game. While he returned for the second half, his ankle was wrapped. If he can’t go in Week 15, Stills loses most of his fantasy value. Brock Osweiler does not like to push the ball downfield, and that’s where Stills is the most dangerous.
Dante Pettis
Marquise Goodwin returned to the field, but that didn’t stop Dante Pettis from being the San Francisco 49ers top wide receiver. Facing off against a solid Denver Broncos squad, Pettis finished with the second-most receptions (three), yards (49), and targets (seven) on the team. He also added a touchdown for good measure.
Pettis doesn’t have the easiest road the rest of the way, facing off against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 and the Chicago Bears in Week 16. However, he sees a high volume of targets and quarterback Nick Mullens clearly trusts him. If you’re desperate for wide receivers, Pettis should give you flex-level production.
