Aaron Rodgers
The best quarterback in the NFL has every right to be drafted in the early rounds. Barring injury, Rodgers looks to be the top fantasy quarterback off the board. He consistently shows the ability to put up great fantasy points per game. in 2016, Rodgers averaged 24.81 points per game on DraftKings.
Jordy Nelson
Nelson could easily be taken in the second or third round of most drafts and be a very solid pick. in 2016, Nelson averaged 20.04 points per game on DraftKings. Nelson was voted the comeback player of the year after tearing his ACL to start the 2015 season. With Nelson completely healthy, he should match of exceed his 2016 totals.
Martellus Bennett
Newcomer, Martellus Bennett has a match made in heaven with the Packers. Bennett’s draft stock should rise due to playing with Rodgers, and an offense that centers around the tight end position. In 2016, Bennett averaged 10.69 points per game on DraftKings. Look for Bennett s points per game to rise with a tight end friendly offense.
Worth the Risk
Davante Adams
Adams had an up and down year in 2016, averaging 16.23 points. He has the ability to exceed those numbers, but his production may drop due to more talent around him.
Ty Montgomery
Montgomery is a boom or bust pick at running back. The team has named him the starter at the position, but they also drafted three rookies. With not even a year under his belt playing as a true running back, players should be wary. Montgomery averaged 9.63 points per game playing as a running back/wide receiver in 2016 on DraftKings.
Randall Cobb
Cobb could be used as a bench wide receiver because his fantasy production has been in decline as of late. He should be available in the mid to later rounds of most drafts. Cobb averaged 11.64 points per game on DraftKings in 2016.
Late Round Steals
Packers Defense
The Packers defense was a mess in many ways in 2016. They ranked near the bottom of every statistical category, other than turnovers. If the defense can find a way to be solid and create turnovers as they did last year, they may be a steal in 2017.
Aaron Jones
Drafted out of UTEP, Aaron Jones looks to make an impact as a situational running back. Jones had a knack for the big play in his collegiate years and also has some value in the return game. If the injury bug strikes, Jones could find himself sharing the load with Jamaal Williams.
