One of the most crucial parts of playing fantasy football is playing the match-ups. Now some players are match up proof you are not going to sit Aaron Rodgers or Antonio Brown. These are some week eight fantasy football starts and sits to help you win you’re match up this week.

Matt Ryan

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is averaging 22 fantasy points per game so far this season. He is however coming off a disappointing week seven where he totaled only 12 fantasy points. In week eight he has a solid match up vs the Green Bay Packers. Ryan should be able to take advantage of a beating up Packers secondary and post solid numbers in week eight.

Russell Wilson

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is not having the 2016 season that many had hoped. Wilson is coming off of a great 2015 season where he was an elite fantasy quarterback. Wilson has average only 13 fantasy points so far this season per game. In week eight he has a solid match up vs the New Orleans Saints who are giving up the sixth fantasy points to quarterbacks so far the season. If Wilson cannot post a solid week eight vs the Saints owner should start two worry about his season long production.

Matt Forte

New York Jets running back Matt Forte is coming off one of his best games of the season in week seven where he totaled 150 yards and two touchdowns. He has a solid match up vs the Cleveland Browns who are allowing the third most fantasy points to running backs so far the season. Expect Forte to see plenty of touches which has been a problem for him in the last few weeks.

Spencer Ware

Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware has been one of the best draft bargain so far this season. With Jamal Charles struggling to return from his ACL tear last season, Ware has averaged 14 fantasy points per game so far the season. In week eight he has a solid match up vs the Indianapolis Colts who are giving up the third most fantasy points to running backs so far the season. Even if Charles returns and weak eight expect Ware to see plenty of touches and opportunities vs the Colts.

Randall Cobb

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is coming off three solid games where he has averaged 13 fantasy points. In week eight he has solid match up vs the Atlanta Falcons who will most likely have their best corner on fellow wide receiver Jordy Nelson which should open up the middle of the field for Cobb to post another solid week.

Demaryius Thomas

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has averaged nine fantasy points per game so far the season season. In week eight he has a solid match up vs division rival the San Diego Chargers who will be without their shut down corner Jason Verrett. Thomas should have a solid game in what should be a high scoring game.

Jimmy Graham

Seattle Seahawks Tight end Jimmy Graham has been solid since returning from his injury. Graham has averaged seven fantasy points in the games that he has played the season. In week eight he has a solid match up vs his old team the New Orleans Saints. Expect Graham to post solid numbers in week eight in a revenge game vs the team that traded him away.

Delanie Walker

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is coming off his best game this season where he had 14 fantasy points. He is also the third ranked tight end and is averaging seven fantasy points per game this season. He has a solid match up vs the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night Football this week.

Philip Rivers

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has struggled in his last two games he is currently averaging 13 fantasy points over his last two games. He has a difficult match up vs the Denver Broncos who have allowed the third fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Rivers faced the Broncos earlier this season and only totaled 11 fantasy points.

Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been one of the biggest surprises so far this season. Since starting quarterback Tony Romo went down with a back injury Prescott has started every week this season. Prescott has scored 17 fantasy points or more in five weeks straight. In week eight he is going up against a very tough Philadelphia Eagles defense who is allowing the third fantasy points to quarterbacks so far the season.

Matt Jones

Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones has been very inconsistent so far this season. Jones has had four games this season of seven points or less and only three games of double digits fantasy points. He is also coming off of his most disappointing game this season in week seven where he totaled zero fantasy points. Jones has a tough match up vs the Cincinnati Bengals in week eight. The game is also in London which kicks off at 9:30 Eastern Standard Time.

Isaiah Crowell

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell has been one of the biggest boom or bust guys so far this season. He has four games in the double digits and three games of seven or fewer fantasy points. If the Browns are competitive in the game Crowell sees more touches but if they fall behind they use their receiving back Duke Johnson more. In week Crowell faces a tough defense in the New York Jets who have been tough on running backs so far the season.

Alshon Jeffrey

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey is having a disappointing 2016 season. He has only had one double digit fantasy point game this season. He has also not found the end zone yet in 2016. In week eight he is a very tough match up vs the Minnesota Vikings who have given up the second fewest fantasy points to wide receivers the season.

Jeremy Maclin

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has had a disappointing start to his 2016 season. Maclin has only had four fantasy points in each of the last two games. Maclin has a tough match up vs the Indianapolis Colts in week eight who are allowing the fifth fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

Martellus Bennett

New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett has had two disappointing games in a row since his huge game in week five vs Cleveland. With Rob Gronkowski back and at full strength he has seen less target and is a very risky play in week eight. In week eight he faces a solid Buffalo Bills defense who is giving up the second fewest fantasy points too tight ends this season.

Antonio Gates

San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates has struggled this season. He has two games with seven fantasy points and four games of three or less fantasy points this season. Father time may have finally caught up to the tight end Legend. In week eight he has a difficult match up vs the Denver Broncos who have been a difficult match up for tight ends this season.
