The Winnipeg Jets announced that center Bryan Little is sidelined for the rest of the season with a perforated eardrum that will require surgery.
Little is also going to have a surgical procedure done to help repair the perforated ear drum that has a three-month recovery period.

Bryan Little Out for Rest of the Season
So far this season, Bryan Little has scored two goals and three assists for five points. Little has also posted two minutes in penalties. His possession numbers were 58.9 percent Corsi and a relative Corsi of 10.1. Little has played just seven games this season due to injuries.
Over his 13-year NHL career, Little has only played for the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets franchise. He has 217 goals and 304 assists for 521 career points in 843 career games. He was originally drafted by the Thrashers in the first round, 12th overall in the 2006 NHL draft.

What This Means for the Future
With Little out for the season, the Jets can’t count on getting him back for a playoff push. The team may try and search for another forward to add come deadline to help them reach the post-season. However, the Jets have also been looking for someone to slot into their top-4 on defence. Being just one point out of a wildcard spot, the race is tight.
Head coach Paul Maurice said they could potentially look to move captain Blake Wheeler from wing to centre if need be to fill in the injuries.
