More Ice Time For Comrie Is Likely
With Michael Hutchinson getting signed by the Florida Panthers in the offseason this gives Comrie a chance to get more playing time with the Jets. Comrie will be fighting with Laurent Brossoit for the Jets backup position in training camp. If Comrie doesn’t win the backup job he will be the Jets third string and the starter in Manitoba. According to Last Word On Hockey’s Ben Kerr, Comrie’s game has been getting stronger in the AHL. Kerr’s full report on Comrie can be found on The Winnipeg Jets Top Prospects page.
Defencemen Josh Morrissey is the last remaining unsigned RFA for the Winnipeg Jets.
