Teemu Pulkkinen, 24, was claimed by Minnesota from the Detroit Red Wings. He played in 36 NHL games last year scoring six goals and 12 points. Pulkkinen has not yet made a big mark at the NHL level, but was a prolific sniper at the AHL level. He scored 34 goals and 61 points in 46 games in 2014-15 with the Grand Rapids Griffins. He has a great shot, but has been criticized for his skating.

P.A. Parenteau, 33, was a free agent signee of the New York Islanders but will not play a regular season game in his second stint with the team. Last season he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, scoring 20 goals and 41 points in 77 games. He has 268 career points in 424 career NHL games. He brings offense to a New Jersey team that was amongst the lowest scoring in the NHL last year.

Seth Griffith, 23, played in just four games for the Boston Bruins last year.  He recorded one assist. In 34 career NHL games he has six goals and 11 points. Griffith scored 24 goals and 77 points in 57 games for the AHL’s Providence Bruins last season. The former London Knights winger joins the Leafs on the recommendation of his former OHL general manager Mark Hunter.

Martin Frk, 23, was drafted in the second round by the Red Wings in the 2012 NHL Draft. He has yet to play an NHL regular season game. Last season, he played 67 games for the Grand Rapids Griffins and scored 27 goals and 44 points.

Defence

Klas Dahlback, 25, played in 71 games for the Arizona Coyotes last season. He had two goals and eight points. Dahlback has 12 points in 93 career NHL games. He was originally a third round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks, and went to Arizona in the 2015 Antoine Vermette trade.

Goalie

Mike Condon, 26, took over the reigns as the Montreal Canadiens starting goalie when Carey Price was injured last year. In 55 games he finished with a 21-25-3 record, and a 2.71 goals against average with a .903 save percentage. He will back-up Marc-Andre Fleury while Matt Murray is out with a hand injury.
