Alex and Chace are back with a lot to discuss this week as the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs has wrapped up. Now, they look to preview round two of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. The site already has lots of coverage, but Alex and Chace are breaking down each matchup. Starting with what happened in their first-round series. Breaking down all eight series and what happened. Did it go as they predicted? Did it go wildly different? Why?
After that, they quickly look at the losing team and ask where do they go from here? For some, the future is bright and this was just a good experience. For others, this felt like the last kick at the can. And one team, the guys aren’t even sure what to even say about it. They then preview the second-round matchups and what to expect from each team.
Finally, they quickly look at two NHL Head Coach firings that happened this past week. As well as a player retirement and a management position that is now open.
Who are Alex and Chace? Alex and Chace are both from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. Both of them grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.
