Last Word on Habs Pod: Canadiens Force Game Seven
What a week it’s been in Habs land. After splitting the first two games, the Toronto Maple Leafs took games three and four in a decisive fashion. The Habs looked like they were on their way out. However, the Habs then won five and six in overtime to force a game seven.
With the big game coming up, the guys talk about their keys to the game. Both hosts agree the first five or ten minutes will go a long way in determining how the game will go. Connor thinks the longer the Habs are in the game, the more the pressure of past failures will start to weigh on the Leafs. Johannes wonders how real of a thing that is. Either way, a game seven felt like an impossibility a week ago, so let’s just ride the wave.
All this and sports psychology, player usage, playoff baggage, and much much more!
