The details of the injury include having foot surgery on July 31st. For six weeks since then, he has been wearing non-weight bearing hardware. Therefore, the announcement said that Robertson will not be involved in the activities of a full training camp when it begins for the Stars.

The Dallas Stars and Jason Robertson are coming off a big 2024-25. The Stars franchise made it to the Western Conference Finals only to come short against the Edmonton Oilers in six games. Furthermore, Robertson’s season as a player was just as successful.

What Does this Mean Big Picture for the Dallas Stars in 2024-25?

Robertson has had 79 points or more in each of the past three NHL campaigns. He is one of the best players in the NHL and has a career points-per-game of 1.08. His playoffs were successful in 2023-24. He had a tremendous hat trick in Game 3 against the Oilers. Over his past two NHL playoffs, he had 34 points in 38 games played. However, for the Stars, he went pointless in the final three games against the Oilers. So, this year coming is somewhat of one fueled with vengeance. But of course, that comes in the way of Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and the rest of the powerhouse Oilers once again. In any sense, Robertson needs to be at his best when the playoffs come around. That’s all the Nill and the rest of the organization ultimately care about, to have Robertson at full health.
