This is the second game of a back-to-back for the Kings. They played the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday night. Before that, they lost their last game. The Kings are led by Anze Kopitar, who had 42 points in 48 games and Viktor Arvidsson, who had 30 points in 41 games before Friday night’s game.

The Kings are trying to hold on to a wild-card spot, while the Coyotes are one of the worst teams in the league.

Prediction: 1-0 Kings

Calgary Flames vs Seattle Kraken

Head-to-Head: Flames 1-0 Kraken

The last time the Flames and the Kraken played, the Flames came out on top, winning 6-4 on Dec. 30. Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk each had three points for the Flames. Former Flames captain Mark Giordano and Calle Jarnkrok also had three points each.

The Flames come into the game on an eight-game winning streak. Gaudreau leads the Flames in points with 63 in 47 games. Tkachuk is behind him with 54 points in 47 games.

The Kraken have lost their past two games. The Kraken’s leading scorer has a little more than half as many points as Gaudreau. Jared McCann has 32 points in 45 games.

The Flames are at the top of the Pacific Division, while the Kraken are near the bottom of the league standings. While it sounds like a boring matchup, Giordano playing his former team should be a fun time.
