The guys are back and for a second week in a row, the Edmonton Oilers are dominating the news cycle. However, they first take a look at some news from around the league. The biggest being the new Montreal Canadiens General Manager being announced. Alex and Chace discuss what is in the future for the team and ask should they hit the reset button fully? Exploring at some of the contracts and why this offseason might be the better time to make some moves.
After that, they shift to the Oilers and the storm they caused this week. Giving their opinion on reporter Jim Matheson asking Leon Draisaitl “why are you being so pissy?”. Alex goes off on the media in general and the fact that they are asking the wrong people the wrong questions. From there, they discuss just what it would take for either of Draisaitl or Connor McDavid to request a trade and what would that package even look like?
