Best NHL Defencemen
The guys are back with their Top 20 Lists. So far, Alex and Chace have looked at the top 20 centers and wingers. However, today they will give their list for the 20 best NHL defensemen in the league. Not an easy list to make, the guys factor in past performance, underlying numbers, and some projection going forward. Much like the wingers and centers list, the top of the list for each person is pretty similar. However, also much like the other two, the order is not the same.
One big difference though is past the top few there are some different names. Evaluating defence is such a hard thing to do which makes what you look at so vital in these lists. Overall, both Alex and Chace give why they had each player ranked where they did, as well as why they left some players off. Above that, they also dive into each player listed and what makes them one of the best NHL defensemen in the league.
Who are Alex and Chace? Alex and Chace are both from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. Both of them grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.
