Last Word on Habs Pod: Sitting Pretty

The guys are back to talk about the Habs 2-0 series lead over the Winnipeg Jets. Game one played out very much as our hosts predicted. The Jets were a bit rusty and sloppy and the Habs took advantage. The 5-3 scoreline was a bit flattering for the Jets. Still, the game was overshadowed by Mark Scheifele‘s hit on Jake Evans at the end of the game. Evans is out indefinitely with a concussion while Scheifele has been suspended for four games. Both are big losses to their respective teams.

Needless to say, the fallout was rather ridiculous on social media and in the actual media. Still, there are games to play and the Habs were able to keep their focus and win a tight-checking 1-0 game two. They now return home with an opportunity to close out the series. The Habs have won five games in a row and whatever they are doing, it seems to be working.

All this and lineup changes, feeling confident, the dangers of looking ahead and much much more!

TUNE IN!
