Last Word on Habs Pod: Playoff Preview
The guys return after taking a week off for Mothers Day. The Habs have qualified for the NHL playoffs! Even if they backed in on a five-game losing streak. The focus now shifts to their first-round matchup with the rival Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Habs are enjoying a bit of a rest right now as their series with the Leafs only begins on Thursday, May 20. That gives them eight days off to rest up after a very grueling schedule. On top of that, the Habs are getting healthy as well. We can expect Brendan Gallagher, Carey Price, Shea Weber, and Phillip Danault are all expected to return to the lineup. This means, there will be some players on the outside looking in when the series starts. One player not returning for the playoffs is Jonathan Drouin.
All this and series predictions, conditioning stints, reasonable Leafs fans, and much, much more!
