NHL Trade Deadline Review
Alex and Chace are back with the NHL Trade Deadline coverage. Last week, they did the NHL Trade Deadline preview. For that, they went through each team and discussed what they should do. Should they buy, sell, or stay put? As well as which players to buy or sell. However, now that the deadline has passed, the guys take a look at some of the trades that actually happened.
Chace has some strong opinions on the Toronto Maple Leafs and their deadline, describing it as underwhelming. As well, Alex thinks the winner of the deadline has to be one of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, or Boston Bruins. The guys also discuss a couple of the teams they were disappointed in that they didn’t do anything. A pair of teams they thought should sell, but recent winning streaks to place them firmly in fourth changed their minds. As well as a team or two in the North that did nothing but probably should have looked to add.
Who are Alex and Chace? Alex and Chace are both from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. Both of them grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.
