Last Word on Habs Pod: Montreal Canadiens Humbled

It’s been a rough week for the Montreal Canadiens. After a seemingly character-building win over the Edmonton Oilers, the Habs hit a wall. The Habs were humbled by the Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets. On top of the three losses, the Habs also lost Brendan Gallagher and Carey Price to injury. Gallagher is out for six weeks with a broken finger. Price, as usual, is shrouded in mystery.

With the Habs clearly struggling something needs to be done. The trade deadline is here, so if Marc Bergevin has a move to make, he better do it now. The hopes are he does something drastic, but the reality is probably nothing. Still, we can hope!

All this and Cole Caufield‘s debut, Eric Staals usage, coaching decisions, and much much more!
