NHL Predictions Including Winnipeg Jets vs Calgary Flames
Los Angeles Kings vs Vegas Golden Knights
Head-to-Head: Kings 1 – 3 Knights
The Golden Knights are coming off a huge weekend which saw them take the division lead thanks to a big win Saturday. However, now their focus needs to shift onto a Kings team that will be looking to play spoilers. The Knights have legit Stanley Cup hopes for this season and have one of the best rosters out there. So much elite talent like the names of Mark Stone and Alex Pietrangelo, just to name a few. Marc-Andre Fleury has been unreal this season in net and that has helped Vegas out a bunch too.
The Kings are a few points out of a playoff spot and sit sixth in the division currently. However, this was always supposed to be a year where they reset and eventually bring their young kids up. Calvin Petersen has been a great development for Los Angeles this year too and they will not be an easy out for Vegas.
Prediction: Golden Knights wins 4-2.
Minnesota Wild vs San Jose Sharks
Head-to-Head: Wild 2 – 1 Sharks
The Minnesota Wild have been one of the league’s best surprises so far this season. A team that had very little expectations other than probably competing for the fourth playoff spot has become a legitimate top-three team in the division so far. Joel Eriksson Ek has been a quieter but massive part of that success. And of course, everyone knows about Kirill Kaprizov and what he has done to help change this team. Now, a team that may have been taking a step back looks to compete with some giants in their division.
The Sharks, on the other hand, continue their downward progression as they look to rebuild or retool. This team has a lot of ageing players that are making tons of money but aren’t what they were in their primes. That being said, they will look to give the Wild all they can handle here. These two teams will see each other four more times after tonight this season, so it will be important to set the tone.
Prediction: Wild win 5-2.

Winnipeg Jets vs Calgary Flames
Head-to-Head: Jets 4 – 3 Flames
Already the eight meetings between these two teams, they should be really familiar with each other by now. They were our featured game the other night too, and it was a good one. The Flames took it 4-2 and now look to build some much-needed momentum if they want any chance of climbing back into the playoff race. They currently sit two points back of the Montreal Canadiens but will have played six more games than them after tonight due to a COVID Outbreak. The good news for Calgary is that Montreal will have a really condensed schedule, but they still have a ton of opportunities for points.
Winnipeg is looking to bounce back as they are still in the hunt for the division lead. They are just two points out but do have one more game played currently. Still, they should have a decent rebound performance here tonight. There haven’t been too many games where the Jets have stayed quiet twice in a row this season. Strong goaltending and some solid scoring from their top nine is what has brought them so far, don’t look for that to change anytime soon.
Prediction: Jets win 4-3 in Overtime.
