Roope Hintz Staying Put in Dallas
Drafted in the second round, 49th overall, in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Roope Hintz has played for the Dallas Stars the past two seasons. During his short NHL career, Hintz has played in 118 games. Recording 28 goals and 27 assists for 55 total points.
Looking Down the Road
With that being said, Roope Hintz is a young, speedy forward that the Dallas Stars and their fans are excited to have back. He has a high hockey IQ and can fill the role of a goal scorer or player maker when need be. On top of that, Hintz has a fantastic vision of the ice which allows him to get creative. Between him, Denis Gurianov, Miro Heiskanen and a couple of others the Stars have a bright future ahead of them.
After fracturing his ankle and injuring his hip during these most recent playoffs. Hintz is set to be fully fit heading into the 2020-21 season. While he is more of a natural winger, Hintz has the ability to be moved to the centre to provide the team with more depth down the middle. This versatility is something the Stars and their coaching staff love about Hintz. After a heartbreaking loss in the Stanley Cup finals. Hintz and the Dallas Stars will look to lift Lord Stanley’s Cup in 2021.
