Today the guys are back with a mini-episode before the main one this week. With so many RFA signings happening, Alex and Chace decided to do a 30-minute podcast focusing on that. In this, they take a look at Mitch Marner and why it may have been an overpayment. They also look at how it compares to Auston Matthews and William Nylander deals.
Next, they look at other RFA’s such as Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo. They examine what it means for their team and how it helps them in the cup run going forward. They also examine the new Thomas Chabot deal. Alex feels an actual hope for his team, something he has not had in a while. They look at the long-term outcomes of the deal and why it was smart to lock Chabot up.
