Mitch Marner Signs, Central Division Preview

It was a big news week in the NHL!

The NHLPA announced that they would not opt-out of the current collective bargaining agreement. With 2 more years of labour peace, can we avoid a work stoppage?

A collection of restricted free agents signed this week, the biggest name being Mitch Marner. With him finally signed, is everything solved in Leafs land? In addition to Marner, Jared Spurgeon, Josh Morrissey, Ivan ProvorovTravis Konecny, and Charlie McAvoy signed extensions. Who were the winners and losers?

It’s also time to preview the Central Division. In what is the toughest division in the NHL who will come out on top? (There’s a general consensus who will be bottoms up.) Can Chicago and Robin Lehner get back to the playoffs? Can the Avalanche and Stars ride playoff success to a confidence boost? Can the Blues keep the Cup ride going? Can Nashville keep winning? Only time will tell. And us.

All this and more on episode 248 of the 4th Line Hockey Podcast!
