This week’s Real Hockey Talk show took place at Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen. Along with Dave Isaac, Greg Isaac, William Grigsby from lastwordonhockey.com and Ed Cole this is podcast #7 for your listening pleasure.
The show was originally scheduled to air from its normal noon-3 pm time slot. But technical issues with our broadcasting equipment changed it to 1 pm to 3 pm.
NHL Salaries Per Points Scored: Real Hockey Talk Podcast #7
Still, we got into various topics of discussion including line combinations from dailyfaceoff.com. We debated whether to agree with the lines they came up with and how those lines may work for the teams.
In Dave’s “what have I learned” segment he covered two Vegas shows he took in while in tinsel town in May. His favourite was Donny and Marie. We chatted about the Vegas scene and how we all enjoy visiting there. What a sports town Las Vegas is becoming!
William worked hard on a spreadsheet where he accumulated data on how much each Western Conference top three scoring forwards earned per point scored for the 2018-19 season. It analyzes whether each team is spending too much or is getting a bargain. Next week look for the Eastern Conference results.

- Do the Anaheim Ducks have a chance of recovering to a playoff position
NHL Top Ten Controversial Players
Dave goes through the list of the ten top controversial players in the NHL. Some may surprise why others will jog your memory as to what happened to allow them to be on the list.
Some are there due to their unseemly behavior on the ice. Others are included for some questionable conduct off the ice.
Unfortunately, we just barely got done with the list when our remote broadcast equipment decided it didn’t want us to finish the last hour of the show. Our apologies.
We’ll try to make it up to our loyal fans next week. So be sure to watch for the next article as we attempt to bring you some interesting dialogue on the NHL happenings.
