NHL Awards

The guys are back and as the regular season runs down they decide to take a look at the NHL Awards. However, they first take a look at a pair of signings that happened. Zdeno Chara is the first signing. Both the guys don’t have too many thoughts on it but Alex is super impressed with Chara. Next, they look at Nick Schmaltz and his 7-year deal. Chace tries to convince Alex this is a better deal than he seems to think.

Next, they look at the NHL Awards. The guys start with the Hart debate. First, they say where they stand on if you need to be in playoffs or not. After that, they start to look at the award winners itself. They then look through the Norris, Calder, Selke and Vezina awards. The guys talk about who they think should win and also who may get overrated in each award.

Finally, they take a look at the Jack Adams and GM award. They talk about what goes into a Jack Adams and does a coach make a hot goalie or a hot goalie make a good coach? Tune in for all of this and more on the MnM Hockey Podcast!
