MnM Hockey Podcast – Best NHL Team Futures
The guys are back and this time with another list! Chace and Alex decide to break down the 10 Best NHL Team Futures. These lists assume they took over the General Manager position for any team today. They then would have to develop that team into a Cup Contender for the next decade or so.
Which teams would the guys most like to take over right now? Find out by giving it a listen! Both agree that going for younger teams with less long contracts is smarter, although, there is some disagreement to which teams may be competitive in five-10 years.
Chace and Alex debate about whether or not teams like the Lightning or Predators have a good enough future ahead of them to be good in the years to come, or whether they will ultimately have to rebuild sometime in the future.
They also look at teams like the Blue Jackets and wonder if their young core is good enough to build a contender around in the near future, or if they would need more work.
