In this weeks episode, Alex and Chace are back to review the NHL Free Agency period. Breaking down all sorts of stuff that happened on the Canada Day weekend.
The guys start off by breaking down the good deals signed this weekend, including John Tavares to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Both Chace and Alex agree that this was much like the normal in that there were not many good deals signed.
Following that, they take a look at some of the smarter cheap deals that came out of NHL Free Agency. Debating what players could make an impact at a low cost.
Next, Alex and Chace switch over to the bad signings of the weekend. Alex is still in shock at how NHL General Managers think. Wondering how they can keep making the same mistakes over and over again. They debate who had the best vs worst weekend in the league.
Lastly, they break down the Ryan O’Reilly trade. They talk about why Buffalo moved him and whether they got enough for him. They look at who won the deal and if it made sense from both sides.

Who are Alex and Chace? Alex and Chace are both from Waterloo region in Ontario Canada. Both of them grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.
