Randy Lee, Senators Assistant General Manager, Arrested in Buffalo at the NHL Scouting Combine

Lee and the Senators Top Brass are in Buffalo for the annual NHL Scouting Combine. Yesterday was an interview day, where teams have the opportunity to sit down with some of the top prospects. Following the day’s events, Lee was at local bar “The 716” and took a hotel shuttle back to the Westin Hotel. Lee allegedly harassed one of the hotel employees.

Flynn said that Lee is accused of putting his hands on the shoulders of a 19-year-old male hotel shuttle driver. He allegedly made a lewd remark referring to Lee’s genitalia. The driver immediately reported the incident to security. Police were called and Lee was taken into custody.

Lee was detained as he is a Canadian Citizen. His passport was seized, and he has been told to stay away from the hotel.

Lee was released following a court appearance Friday and will appear again Monday, according to Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch. The alleged incident took place late Thursday morning or early that afternoon.
